WFF Board Members help make an impact and support WFF’s mission of advancing women in foodservice.
The WFF Governance/Nominating Committee occasionally seeks applicants to serve on the WFF Board of Directors. Board Members impact the mission of WFF through its relationship with the foodservice industry, enterprise governance, and resource development.

Board of Director qualifications
WFF Board Members are champions of WFF’s mission to accelerate the advancement of women in the foodservice industry. Among other requirements, WFF looks for the following qualifications in Board Members:
- Currently employed in the foodservice industry
- Previous experience serving on boards (for-profit or not-for-profit)
- Proven leadership ability, including current or prior executive-level experience within a foodservice organization
- Knowledge and experience regarding nonprofit and volunteer organizations
- Specific skills, including but not limited to: audit, diversity awareness, legal, finance, fundraising, human resources, information technology, learning and development, marketing, operations, and public relations.
