Time and Financial Commitment

Interviews for the open Board positions are usually held in August of the current year.
The Board holds two scheduled face-to-face meetings, and virtual meetings as needed, during the WFF fiscal year, which is the calendar year.
Directors are expected to attend all Board meetings, and all meetings of committees to which they are assigned, unless excused. They may not send substitutes or delegates to attend Board or committee meetings. Lack of participation may result in being removed from the board.
WFF does not pay the travel or lodging expenses of Directors while attending Board meetings or committee meetings. Travel and lodging expenses may be paid by WFF for Directors who are called upon to attend emergency or special meetings or events at the request of, and approved by, the Chair or the President/CEO.
Each elected Director shall hold office for two three-year terms, beginning on January 1st of the next calendar year.
All Directors must be active WFF Members and must be currently employed in the Foodservice Industry.
Must fulfill an annual contribution to WFF of $50,000 or above.
